Captain Steve Curtis, owner and skipper of Capullo has been fishing Angler Adventures clients for the past 15 years, and is considered one of Costa Rica's top skippers. Tamarindo provides year-round sportfishing opportunities. Sailfish are caught 12 months of the year, but generally peak anytime from April through November. Likewise, blue, black and striped marlin can be taken any season, but marlin fishing is at it's best from November through March. Add to the mix, yellowfin and bigeye tuna to 200 + pounds, dorado, wahoo and other offshore species, roosters, dogtooth snappers and other inshore and reef species, and you have one of the most diverse and bountiful salt water fisheries to be found anywhere in the world. 2006 Season rate: $1075 per full day |
