Stafford Creek Lodge offers spectacular, secluded bahamas bonefishing as well as access to some of the few consistent permit and tarpon fisheries in the Bahamas. From Stafford Creek Lodge anglers will enjoy convenient access to the famous Bahamas bonefishing grounds of the Joulter Cays and the west side of Andros. Stafford Creek Lodge also fishes the countless tidal creeks and lakes the pepper Andros Island.

Prescott Smtih and his team of Bahamas bonefishing guides are experts at utilizing these resources efficiently according to tides, weather and time of year. The fishing guides also do a splendid job of catering to specific clients' fishing preferences and abilities. The fishing staff at Stafford Creek Lodge also take advantage of

several different boat launch sites up and down the coast of Andros Island. This means that anglers can fish a great diversity of bonefish flats without added travel time over water. Quicker access to the flats, of course, means more time bonefishing.

The flats of Andros accessable from Stafford Creek Lodge are some of the world's best flats for specifically targeting big bonefish. This is especially true of Andros' west side, which is routinely explored by only a small handful of bonefishing

lodges aside from Stafford Creek. There are very few other places on earth that offer bonefish this big and this unsophisticated. Other nearby flats smaller fish forraging in huge numbers or medium sized fish cruising in doubles and small groups. Anglers fishing out of Stafford Creek Lodge also have good chances at a variety of other bahamas flats species such as barracuda, jacks, shark and snapper.

The fishing days start early, allowing optimal fishing hours on those flats. Guests at Stafford Creek Lodge fish from comfortable, high performance Maverick Mirage flats skiffs. Anglers fish two per boat/guide. Tuna, dorado, wahoo and other blue water species can be pursued only a few miles offshore in the Tongue of the Ocean. Stafford Creek Lodge is a family run lodge, offering specialized personal attention to all clients. The small, close-knit staff is friendly and extremely accessible. Individual guest cabins accommodate anglers in unusually spacious quarters. There are four cabins for a maximum of 8 guests. The

cabins are each appointed with handmade pine furniture, two queen sized beds, ceiling fan, mini-fridge, coffee maker, towels and robes. All guest rooms are air conditioned and have private baths. Ocean front decks complete the cabins' facades. Complimentary laundry service is also available. Although Stafford Creek Lodge is for bonefishing enthusiasts, other activities are available upon request such as diving or bird watching.

Stafford Creek Lodge has a well trained, full time chef who creates excellent meals designed around fresh seafood and other local ingredients. Breakfasts and dinners are served in the main lodge; lunch is packed in a cooler and eaten on the bonefishing flats. Conch fritters and other hors 'deouvres are served with post-fishing cocktails.
