Fly Fishing Andes is a custom Northern Patagonia trout program: private water on multi-thousand-acre estancias around San Martín and Junín de los Andes, English-speaking guides, and itineraries you design — one lodge or several — with Alberto Cordero-Biedma.
Miles of private access mean you can fish a day without seeing another angler. Rainbows and browns feed hard on these rivers; landlocked Atlantic salmon show on the Traful. Stay in comfortable lodges with private baths, Argentine wines, and meals with uniformed service. This is civilized fishing on wild water.

How Fly Fishing Andes works
Hola — Alberto Cordero-Biedma, owner and principal guide. There are no standard packages. Stay as few or as many days as you want, at one lodge or two, three, or four. Most guests spend ten days to two weeks on two or three estancias. If you have a week, visit at least two waters. Tell us dry fly, streamer, or mixed, and we build the week.
Northern Patagonia is kinder than the south: lighter winds and warm weather from late December into early April. The rainbows (McCloud strain), German browns, Sebago landlocked salmon, and brookies were planted in these Andean waters more than ninety-five years ago. Returning guests get first dates — start a year ahead for January through March.

Chimehuín
The river that put Argentine trout on the map. Float, wade, sight-fish, or hunt with streamers and big attractor dries. Rainbows and browns to 30″; plenty in the 21–24″ range. Tipiliuke also fishes seven miles of the smaller Quilquihue, a dry-fly stream.
Tipiliuke Lodge
Stone lodge on a 50,000-acre estancia just north of San Martín. Seven miles of private Chimehuín plus seven miles of the Quilquihue.
Traful
Ten miles through a spectacular Andean valley. Patagonia’s premier landlocked Atlantic salmon river, plus browns and rainbows. Record fish: 18-lb salmon, 16-lb brown, 23-lb rainbow.
Estancia Arroyo Verde
Forbes called it “the finest fishing lodge in the world, period.” Three or four days wading this river is a trip of its own. Food and wine rival any restaurant.
Limay River
The Fly Fishing Andes Limay product is Limay River Ranch — not Limay River Lodge, which is a separate program.

Collón Curá
From mid-January to mid-March, baitfish move in and trout feed hard, mixed with inchworms and evening caddis. You are buying location — the remote private water.
Collón Curá Lodge
The stay for the best private water on the Collón Curá. Less picturesque than Tipiliuke or Arroyo Verde; the fishing is the point.
Aluminé, lower Chimehuín & upper Collón Curá
Where the Chimehuín and Aluminé join to form the Collón Curá. Float, float-to-wade, or wade-only on three rivers from one small lodge.
Tres Rios Lodge
Nine miles of lower Chimehuín, four of lower Aluminé, four of upper Collón Curá. Three rooms; one group at a time.
Malleo
Smaller than most Patagonian rivers, and the one with the densest, most predictable hatches. Easy wading, mixed water types, Lanín on the skyline. Books early — January through March is often gone by July.
Hosteria San Huberto
Traditional lodge for twelve guests on a 25,000-acre ranch with about 20 miles of the Malleo.
Filo Hua Hum
A tributary of the Caleufu, about seven miles between two lakes. Sight-fishing and dries (dragonflies from January). Average 16–20″, fish to 10 pounds. Not a numbers river — stalk a few good fish a day that eat on top.
Filo Lodge
Eight guests, remote, little pressure. We book Filo through Fly Fishing Andes — there is no separate Angler Adventures lodge page yet.
