Evan Peterson recalls from his recent trip to Mars Bay Bonefish Lodge, South Andros, Bahamas:
The small group of bonefish appeared as they turned the corner at the top of a shallow mangrove-lined lagoon, heading into the tide. They were visibly feeding on the bottom as they cruised along the outside edge; the grey shapes pausing momentarily, tails giving them away before their shadows, before continuing their ramble directly at me. Scenarios like this are why I love fishing the flats of South Andros.
